Ada Malone Ward
Ada died on April 23, 2016. She fought long and hard.
And now she hurts no more.
ADA recieved a new kidney from a living donor on August 19th, 2014.
Her daughter grew up through all of Ada's endurement of dialysis for four years, and all Ada's other complications during those times.
Including the liver transplant in January of 2010, which after they did four surgeries all together on Ada within a few months, gave her end stage renal disease. Her kidneys failed.
Ada was given blood transfusions containing Hepatitis C during emergency surgery in the 1980s. No one even knew what Hep C was. It takes years to show itself in your body.
She donated a kidney to her mother. Daughter is doing great. Ada has been in and out of Methodist Hospital three times already since the transplant on August 19th.
Today is September 13th.
